Tiles and testing

The group are now making steady progress designing and producing the tiles.  Some beautiful designs - here some examples so far.  Inspiration is coming from the Arts and Crafts features of the house, the different groups who use it and its fascinating history.

There are still some experiments to do with the glazing and techniques.  And the group discussed how to test the glazes for their resilience to stains and heavy foot traffic - we look forward to experiments with coffee and bleach!
